I am still a bit bashful learning new things and people around me, but gaining more confidence daily. I live with another greyhound, whom I like playing with ( he has a funny accent - he is from Australia !! ) , I also love squeaky toys, even if I cant figure out how to squeak them yet !! I am a perfect girl !! Do you have my couch ??

Hi my name is Gigi, a 3 year old black female from West Virginia. I just arrived here and am trying to settle in, into Retired life. I learned to go outside to do my business with the other house dogs, eat all my breakfast and dinner. I am fascinated by all the white stuff falling from the sky and love doing zoomies in the yard with my two housemates. It did take me some time to learn the stairs, but now I am a master. I love playing wit the stuffed animals, running around the house, and empty the toy basket until its filled up again. This house has lots of big soft beds, I can choose anyone I want to lay on and sleep all night long. Foster mom laughs at me cause my bark is sort of a squeak. The squirrels are fun to watch eating the bird food on the deck. Foster mom says that I am sweet, gentle and love cuddles.

Good Day!! My name is Akela ( Iris ) and I am a 1 year and 7 month old Brindle with White female from Down Under !! My Littermates Vates and Kris are here with me as well! We grew up together and have not been apart yet.
I am in a foster home with other greyhounds and followed them around for guidance. Soon after I felt more comfortable and now follow the human around where ever she goes. I do get more affectionate the more time I spend with you. I can be a little "pawsie" when seeking attention, I do this with humans and animals, I am also incredibly affectionate and loving. 5 kids came over the other day and I had a blast playing with them. Foster mom said, I came a long way already and am a very sweet girl !!! Do you have my couch ??

Good Day!! My name is Cress and I am a Brindle with White boy at 1 year and 7 month old from Down Under. My Littermates Vates and Akela are here with me as well and I am glad since I have never been away from them.
I am a quiet and shy boy who would do best with another Greyhound / dog. While I stand still to receive pats, I tend to be quit stoic and often prefer my own space or company of anothergreyhound. While I was not interested in toys or playtime, I wandered around with another greyhound.
Overall, I walk very well on a lead and am functional, but a bit fearful in unfamiliar environments and it would benefit me to be exposed to unfamiliar things over and over.

Good Day!! My name is Yarrow and I am a Black male at 1 month shy of 2 years old from Down Under.
I am a very friendly and playful boy that adores people and ear scratches. I am affectionate and love to cuddle, often climbing ( not jumping ) into your lap if you crouch down and greet me! I am curious and physical affectionate, often rubbing up against you and getting involved in what ever your doing. By accident I jumped up on a door handle and opened the door - I am not naughty I swear , it just opens up!
On lead I can pull a little, because I just love to sniff everything!! Cars going by are not my favorite, I like it more quiet. A harness is best for me when going for walks because I shy away from the street noise. (May be able to desensitized by repetitiveness)
I showed strong interest in balls and spent some time digging at them desperately, while muzzled. but once the muzzle was removed - I was delighted to finally pick one up and proudly carry it around the yard. I did shy away from noisy toys, I much rather prefer the quiet ones. I am very polite with other dogs and respective to the play invitations and interact well with all dogs.
I love zoomies with my toys as you can see in the video. I am just a friendly happy boy that is looking for his dog bed by your feet.
