Jed
...waiting to be adopted
My
name is Jed and I’m a 10 year old male who was returned to Greyheart because
my family couldn’t take care of me anymore. I’m a medium sized male (68lbs)
and I currently live with two other greyhounds (one male and one female),
three cats and an 8 year old boy. My foster mom says I am a very well
behaved boy with excellent house manners. I love to go for walks with you
and rides in the car. Long drives to places like Northern Michigan are not
an issue for me. Even though I’m 10 years old, my
doctor says I am in excellent health.
I don’t like to be left alone for long periods of time and I’d prefer to
live in a household with another dog that I can snuggle up with. I am an
alpha male, but not aggressive at all. I love my people and like to go to as
many places with them as I’m allowed. I don’t mind cats but I don’t like
small dogs that
much
and I tend to play a little too rough with them. In the evenings, I get a
short burst of energy and love to throw stuffed animals around. When you
come home, I will always greet you with my favorite toy in my mouth. My
favorite thing to do is cuddle up with you while you’re watching television
and have you scratch my ears and neck. And if you sing
along to the radio like my foster mom does, I’ll join in and sing right
along with you.
So, if you’re looking for a laid back guy to keep you company on your walks,
while you’re out running errands or while you’re working around the house,
I’m your man. I am perfectly content to lay on the floor wherever you are
and keep you company. Will you give me a new forever home?
