Rider
waiting to be adopted
Hi, my name is Rider. I am a brindle male and I will be three years old on January 8th. My foster mom named me after Flynn Rider, the hero in the Disney movie Tangled.
I am a very easy going boy, but I have a curious
streak. I don't usually chew things up, but I do
like to grab things left in my
reach and take them to my bed. My foster family
says I get an A+ in collecting.
I am a happy boy and wag my tail regularly for
anybody that talks
to me. I love getting pets and scratches. I love to go
outside and run around in circles and occasionally bark at those squirrels that
are up high on the wires and wave
their tails at me. I know how to
let my family
know when I need to go outside, I pace and I whine and I have trained them to
let me out, therefore, I have never had any accidents. I love to sleep on
my dog
bed and I stay in a crate when my people are
at work or school for the day.
I LOVE squeaky toys and have great fun throwing them up in the air and grabbing them. I even put my butt in the air and wag my tail like crazy because I love those toys and I love playing with them.
I'm used to other dogs in the house, but I think
if I was spoiled enough I wouldn't mind being an only dog. I have a cat here
too, I
haven't tried to do anything to her, but
every time she runs by me I get
a little excited and then
someone yells at me and so I have learned to leave that cat alone.
I am used to two teenagers who like to hug and
wake me up when I am sleeping and I think they are kind of cool to have around
so I think kids would work for me if
you have any.
