THE HELPING HANDS FUND

The Helping Hands Fund has been established by GreyHeart Greyhound Rescue & Adoption of Michigan to financially assist GreyHeart members whose rescued greyhound is in dire need of a medical treatment/procedure. This fund is intended to be used as help to the adopter for payment to the veterinarian in charge. It is for medical bills that are considered exorbitant, but necessary, and which are out of the range of what the adopter can afford to pay at that time. A member may qualify for Helping Hands if their greyhound’s life is hanging in the balance and timely medical care could save the dog and allow for an extension of a life of quality.

Considerations as to who is eligible to receive aid from Helping Hands shall be made by the GreyHeart Board of Directors and will remain anonymous to protect the privacy of GreyHeart members. Any donations to GreyHeart Greyhound Rescue & Adoption of Michigan can be specified as going into the Helping Hands Fund and will remain there until, and if, the need arises to help a GreyHeart member save their beloved pet.
